Deputy Jailer Bruce Markus his K-9 partner Layco and Jailer Greg Buckler.
Very few jails in the U.S have a dog, Markus and Layco are the first in-house K-9 team the jail has had.

On April 9, 2010, Congressman Geoff Davis presented Jailer Greg Buckler and Major Young with the Patriot Award from the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. This certificate is from the Department of Defense and honors those employers who accommodate the schedules of their employees who are in service to their country.
